Grand Tour of Ireland - 22th-28th of June 2024 - 1595€ all included

Immerse yourself in the enchanting Emerald Isle with your guide and a small group of up to 8 people, discovering all the wonders of both Irelands. This splendid, green, and rolling island is rich in exceptional natural sites. From charming fishing villages to vibrant cities, towering cliffs to rugged headlands, and geological wonders to archaeological treasures, this diverse journey is one of our best experiences! Don't forget the lively evenings in cities or villages, accompanied by traditional music, providing a glimpse into the heart of Ireland and its warm-hearted people. The cheerful and affectionate Irish gather in pubs, following the age-old tradition, to dance to the tunes of the uilleann pipe and bodhrán!
Explore the cities of Galway, Londonderry, and Dublin, the picturesque fishing villages of Doolin, and the stunning sites of the Dingle Peninsula, the majestic Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, Connemara, and the splendid Giant's Causeway!
Your journey will focus on exploring a large part of Ireland, involving an average of 2 hours of driving per day. The itinerary includes approximately 3 hours of hiking each day on marked trails. Some sections may be vertiginous, but they are easily navigable, ensuring an experience accessible to walkers of all levels.

Day 1 - Saturday - arrival in Dublin and transfer to Doolin or Ennis. Here you will sleap in a comfortable hotel or B&B. In the evening we will find some good pub food and live music.

Day 2 - Sunday - We will visit the Cliffs of Moher in a way the locals do avoiding most tourists and then the moonlike landscapes of the Burren. We will sleep in the exciting town Galway. Remember the Ed Sheeran song?

Day 3 - Monday - Today, we will take a boat trip to one of the Aran Islands. Here we will have a 3hr walk to explore the island and have a nice outdoor lunch. We will sleap in the picturesque town of Clifden surrounded by the 12 Bens mountain range.

Day 4 -  Tuesday - We will visit Connemara National Park by doing a nice hike, followed by lunch. Then we will stop by Kylemore Castle, which could not be in a more special location. We will sleep in Pier Head above Sligo.

Day 5 - Wednesday - We will drive to Slieve League for a fantastic hike and cross to a different country. You will notice the immediate difference when we enter Northern Ireland! We will sleep in Derry, steeped in history.

Day 6 - Thursday - On our last big day we will visit the Giants Causeway, again avoiding most tourists by hiking along the coast. Then we will drive back into Ireland and end the day with a city tour of Dublin. After some last pub food we will sleep in a good hotel!
